Abstrakt
The article is devoted to the interest rate as part of the actuarial basis and its impact on insurance companies in terms of profitability of life insurance products. It contains the history of interest rate, particularly it‘s decline in recent years. In the conclusion of the article, the influence of interest rate on the profit of life insurance product is demonstrated.
