Information technologies focused on cloud computing - analysis of advantages and disadvantages

Abstract

We have been seeing cloud computing more and more often in recent years. The cloud is used not only by large but also small businesses, and if not at least considering it. It has also penetrated among lay people, who are more likely to use only data storage mostly on smartphones or computers. The cloud has many benefits that businesses are aware of, but the security of stored data in the cloud is still debatable. The paper focuses on the three largest cloud providers, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. After a thorough analysis, we define the benefits and risks of the cloud services of these companies, focusing on one particular service provided by all three providers.
